Installation & Setup
Installation and setup is quick, easy and largely wizard driven. A separate Eventbrite account is required, if you do not have an Eventbrite account you can sign up for one during the setup process.
The integration works with the following Salesforce editions:
We support both the Salesforce classic and Salesforce lighting user interfaces and the non-profit success pack (often used by charities).
You can install into your Salesforce production, sandbox or developer orgs.
Once installed you get a free 14 day trial of our premium features unless you are in a sandbox of a developer account, which provides a longer trial.
In a Salesforce production org, after 14 days the application will disappear from your Salesforce org and you will need to purchase the application from the Eventbrite for Salesforce AppExchange listing .
Go to the Eventbrite for Salesforce AppExchange listing
Click the Get it now button. All Salesforce applications are installed via a standard wizard using the steps below.
If you are not already Logged in you will be prompted to do so.
Choose whether to Install in Production or a Sandbox.
Select, I have read and agree to the terms and conditions, then click Confirm and Install.
Choose whether to install for admins only, All users or specific profiles. We recommend you select Admins only and once installed give users access via our permission sets.
A popup will appear asking for approve third party access. This will contain the secure APIs we use to push and pull data via Eventbrite and Salesforce. Check Yes, grant access to third party websites and click Continue.
Select Yes, grant access to these third-party websites then click Continue.
It usually takes Salesforce less than 10 minutes to install, once complete you will receive a confirmation email.
In Salesforce, click the App menu/launcher and select Eventbrite Admin.
The connection wizard will appear. After installing Eventbrite for Salesforce, follow the steps below to setup and connect.
Click Connect to Eventbrite, enter your Login details or create them then follow the on-screen prompts to access your account. Click Allow access when done.
When the connection is made you will be returned back to Salesforce.
Finally we have provided some initial training material.
The connection wizard will now automatically setup page layouts and enable the sync. The primary sync (this pulls information from Eventbrite) will run every hour. These settings can be changed in Sync Settings.
When installing Eventbrite for Salesforce, the following custom objects will be created. These objects contain either records or settings required for our application. Our product has been designed to be self contained in order to not impact standard objects.
