Installation and setup is quick, easy and largely wizard driven. A separate Eventbrite account is required, if you do not have an Eventbrite account you can sign up for one during the setup process.

The integration works with the following Salesforce professional, enterprise, performance and unlimited editions.
We support both the classic and Lightning user interfaces.
You can install into your Salesforce production, sandbox or developer orgs.
Once installed you get a free 14 day trial of our premium features unless you are in a sandbox or a developer account, which provides a longer trial.
In a Salesforce production org, after 14 days the application will disappear from your Salesforce org and you will need to purchase the application from the Events Made Easy (Eventbrite) AppExchange listing .

Installation

It usually takes Salesforce less than 10 minutes to install, once complete you will receive a confirmation email.

Setup

Click here to go to sync settings (or visit the Eventbrite Settings tab).
The connection wizard will appear click Connect to Eventbrite.
You will be taken to Eventbrite and prompted to Allow access.
When the connection is made you will be returned back to Salesforce.
The sync will now run pulling in your Eventbrite data.

When the connection is made we will automatically setup page layouts and enable the sync. The primary sync (this pulls information from Eventbrite) will run and then again every hour. These settings can be changed in Sync Settings.

Objects

When installing Events Made Easy (Eventbrite), the following custom objects will be created. These objects contain either records or settings required for our application. Our product has been designed to be self contained in order to not impact standard objects.

The billing tiers we use are below. The cost is per month in US dollars, based on the number of attendees you have had in the last rolling 12 months. We only count attendees on events that were not cancelled.

Events Made Easy (Eventbrite) stores your data in several custom objects, all of which you can use in Salesforce reports. Below is what each field holds. API names are shown without the namespace; in your org they start with eb4sf__.

You can also see each field's help text in Setup > Object Manager > [object] > Fields & Relationships.

Eventbrite Event

One record per Eventbrite event.

Event details:

• Event Id (Name), Event Name, Summary, Description

• Status: Eventbrite's event status, for example live, started, ended, completed or canceled

• Sales Status: Eventbrite's ticket sales message

• Category, Subcategory, Format, Online Event, Event URL, Digital Content URL, Password, Currency, Series Id

• Organizer Name, Organizer Id, Organizer URL

Dates:

• Start and End, with Start/End Timezone and the Local Literal and UTC Literal fields holding Eventbrite's raw date values

• Created, Changed, Published

Totals:

• Capacity and Capacity Is Custom

• Total Tickets: the combined capacity of the event's ticket classes

• Total Tickets Sold: the combined quantity sold across ticket classes

• Total Net Sales: the sum of Net Sales on the event's orders, calculated by the sync

Related records:

• Eventbrite Organization, Eventbrite Venue (and Venue Id), Campaign (the linked Salesforce Campaign)

• Event Detail: formula link to the event record

• Job Id, Countdown, Description Text, Question Mapping: internal fields

Eventbrite Order

One record per order. An order can hold several attendees. See Orders / Attendees.

• Order Name (the Eventbrite order ID), Status, Created, Changed

• Name, First Name, Last Name, Email: the buyer

• Has Opted In and Has Contact List: the buyer's marketing preferences in Eventbrite

• Gross, Base Price, Eventbrite Fee, Payment Fee, Tax, Currency: order costs from Eventbrite

• Net Sales: formula, Gross less Eventbrite Fee, Tax and Payment Fee

• Ticket Quantity: roll-up of the Quantity on the order's attendees

• Eventbrite Event, Event Id, Event Name

• Contact, Lead, Account, Opportunity: Salesforce records matched or created by your mappings

• Refund Code and Refund Message: the reason and message for the last refund

• Discount Amount, Discount Type, Display Price, Price Before Discount, Promo Code: not filled by the sync. Discount details are held on each attendee instead

• Job Id: internal field

Eventbrite Attendee

One record per ticket sold.

• Attendee Id (Name), Status (for example Attending or Checked In), Checked In, Cancelled, Refunded, Quantity

• Eventbrite Order, Eventbrite Event, Event Name, Order Id, Event Id

• Ticket Class, Ticket Class Name, Ticket Class Id, Variant Id, Delivery Method, Guestlist Id, Affiliate, Invited By

• Name, First Name, Last Name, Prefix, Suffix, Email, Company, Job Title, Age, Birth Date, Gender, Website, Blog, Cell Phone, Home Phone, Work Phone: from the attendee's Eventbrite profile, where collected

• The Home, Work and Ship address fields, each with a Location field holding the coordinates

• Gross, Base Price, Eventbrite Fee, Payment Fee, Tax, Currency: ticket costs

• Discount Code, Discount Amount Off, Discount Percent Off: the promo code used

• Price Before Discount: formula, the ticket class cost plus tax

• Discounted Amount: formula, Price Before Discount less what was paid (Base Price, Eventbrite Fee and Tax)

• Eventbrite Venue: Name, address fields, Localized Address Display, Location, Capacity and Age Restriction

We offer monthly plans paid by card (and some US customers may be able to use EFT/ACH). You'll be billed monthly starting from your purchase date, and confirmation will be sent by email when we charge the card on file.

Your fee is calculated using the total number of attendees from the past 12 months, and pricing is in tiers. Eventbrite for Salesforce Pricing includes a calculator where you can enter your expected 12-month attendee counts and see the tier cost for that month.

Note: We only count attendees on events that were not cancelled. The 12 months is based on each event's end date.

Example
If you had 10 events in the last 12 months with 20 attendees for each event, then your number of attendees for the last 12 months would be 200. This would fall into tier 0 - 1,000. I.e. the charge would be $25 for that month.

Note: That cost could go up and/or down monthly based on the previous 12 months.

The cost of integrating is separate from Salesforce and Eventbrite. For Salesforce, our integration is compatible with the Essential, Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited editions.

If you're unfamiliar with Eventbrite, we suggest you review their product before proceeding, as it will manage your event creation and registration. Our service integrates your Eventbrite data with Salesforce.

FAQs

Is there a cost for additional users?
Events Made Easy (Eventbrite) is a site license, which means all Salesforce users can access our product, at no additional cost. Permission sets are included in the app to give users access.

Why do we charge?
We are not part of Eventbrite or Salesforce. Our fee covers the initial and continuing development of the integration and our email-based support team. It is worth noting that we don't receive the full fee, margins are very tight. A significant portion is paid to Salesforce, payment processing, and taxes.

Can I pay by invoice?
Our integration is sold via Salesforce Checkout which we have no control over. The only way to pay is via card payment and on one of our monthly plans. Invoices, purchase orders, bank transfers are not supported.

Can I try before I purchase?
You can install our product into your sandbox or production environment to try free, fully-featured, for 14 days. Before you do this, we'd recommend reviewing these articles:
