Mailchimp and Eventbrite
In addition to offering our Eventbrite integration we also have a separate solution for Mailchimp; learn more here. While these applications serve different purposes, they can complement one another, particularly to track engagement with Contacts and Leads.

Mailchimp for Salesforce provides a seamless view of your Mailchimp marketing activities inside Salesforce. It creates and syncs two main types of data which we match to Salesforce Contacts or Leads by their email address :
1. Audience Memberships: These records show which Mailchimp Audience a person belongs to and their current subscription status (e.g., subscribed, unsubscribed).
2. Email Tracking: We efficiently surface email tracking history via our componet which is visible of the contact or lead page. You can optionally store the data if you intend to use it with Salesforce reporting.

How the products can work together
There are several ways you can use the products together in Salesforce.
On an Eventbrite Event record, you can link one or more Mailchimp campaigns via the emails tab. This allows you to see who the email has been sent to and if they have a corresponding attendee record and its status. See the interactive demo below for more information.
In addition to linking email campaigns and events, if you’ve added the Beaufort 12 components to your Contact or Lead page layouts, you’ll see Mailchimp and Eventbrite data side-by-side in their respective sections. This offers a consolidated view of a person’s Mailchimp audience membership and campaign engagement, alongside their Eventbrite ticket purchases and event attendance.
Other Use cases
These are the most common use cases we have seen, but in no way the limit to its use!
1. Post-Event Follow-Up Marketing
Use Salesforce reports to identify attendees of a specific Eventbrite event, then segment them for follow-up marketing using Mailchimp.
- Run a report on Eventbrite attendee records (or Campaign Members, if campaigns are enabled).
- Use our Data Wizard to export this segment to a Mailchimp Audience.
- Send a targeted thank-you campaign or promote future events.
2. Automation with Salesforce Flow
Mailchimp for Salesforce includes invocable actions that can be used in Salesforce Flows, enabling automation based on Eventbrite activity.
Examples:
- Add to Audience or Tag: Automatically add a Contact to a Mailchimp Audience or assign a tag when a new Eventbrite Order or Attendee is created.
- Conditional Logic: Set rules such as “If a person attended Event X, assign them the ‘Past Attendee’ tag in Mailchimp.”
Our sync processes are designed to operate in bulk, so any flows you create should be bulk-safe to avoid hitting governor limits.
