How do I handle admin turnover?

When the admin user who installed or configured the app needs to be made inactive, you may need to update some settings in Mailchimp for Salesforce. 

Reassigning scheduled jobs: It is possible that the Mailchimp Licence scheduled job is set to run as the inactive admin. You can update this easily. 

  1. Login as the correct admin
  2. In setup, search for Scheduled Jobs
  3. Find the job Mailchimp License and confirm it is submitted by the inactive user
  4. Click Manage and then Reschedule Job, without changing any settings.

Note: When possible, we will record Maintenance logs (or send notification emails) to warn of inactive users.
