Can I see Mailchimp activities in the Salesforce Activities TImeline?
Salesforce manages the Salesforce Activity component for Lightning Pages, and only tracks standard Salesforce Activities.
Mailchimp for Salesforce includes its own components to display email tracking information and memberships. These can be added to your lighting pages where required.
- Mailchimp Activities - surfaces the contact's interaction with your Mailchimp Campaigns and other activities, like Mailcihimp Events, landing page vists, threading, and custom audit data we provide. Each user can filter the component by audience and activity type that is most relevant to them.
- Mailchimp Memberships - all list audience memberships for all emails on that record. Users with the correct access can add or remove emails from memberships with the Manage List action.
