What does the Retrospectively Apply do?

In the Field Mappings section for each audience, you will find a 'Retrospectively Apply' button. This feature allows you to push mapped data between Salesforce and Mailchimp for all current audience members. The retrospective sync can be executed in both directions: from Mailchimp to Salesforce and from Salesforce to Mailchimp.

Please note the following:

- The sync will affect all records associated with the subscriber list, based on the selected mapping direction.
- If the retrospective sync is not initiated, the new mappings will only apply to Salesforce Leads and Contacts that are created or updated after the mappings are established.
- It will apply to multiple emails on contacts, if applicable (more info).
