How do I update settings to a new system admin?
When your system adminstrator changes, you may need to review and update several settings in the Mailchimp for Salesforce application. Below are possible steps, depending on your previous configuration.
If the app is no longer available, your payment method has likely expired. Please contact us, and we will grant a trial so you can access billing information on the Mailchimp Settings tab.
N.B. Your organization ID is really helpful on that form!
With access, you can check the following and update if necessary:
- Salesforce Sync User (owns all the jobs that sync data from Mailchimp to Salesforce)
- Connected Mailchimp Account(s) (gives Salesforce access to Mailchimp accounts)
- Salesforce Security Owner(s) ( owns records the integration creates)
- Data Wizard(s) running users (has access to all the Salesforce data being imported)
Remember to also check the new users have the right permissions, as needed.
