How do I reconnect a Mailchimp account?
Typically, you won't need to reconnect a Mailchimp account to Salesforce. But if you do, it is quite easy to do. If you have any settings or imports, these will be kept during a reconnect process. Check out the interactive guide, or visit the Mailchimp Settings tab and click the down arrow next to Sync Now. Click Reconnect to Mailchimp.
Important: If you have more than one connected Mailchimp account, be sure to use the correct account credentials when prompted to log in to Mailchimp.
Why might I need to reconnect?
We connect to Mailchimp using OAuth, which is a long-lived, secure connection. However, if the Mailchimp user who originally connected the account is disabled, or if Mailchimp revokes access, you'll need to reconnect manually as described in the guide.
Errors related to your connected Mailchimp account usually appear as API, data center, or Mailchimp account warnings. For instance, when running the primary sync, refreshing an audience or member, or running an import, you may see this error from the Mailchimp API: "Your API key may be invalid, or you've attempted to access the wrong datacenter."
