Controlling the Mailchimp Membership Component

If you want users in your org to view the Mailchimp Membership component when viewing a Contact in Salesforce. However, you do not want them to:

• Add or remove an audience membership record
• Edit tags or Groups the Groups & Tags tab.

You can just assign them our Mailchimp limited permission set.  Make sure the don't have any other permission sets to override this setting.  If after making this change they still have access to the above check the following.

1. Go to the User’s Profile

• In Salesforce Setup, search for and select Profiles.

• Choose the profile assigned to the user(s) you want to restrict.

2.Locate the Custom Permissions Section

• Scroll down to the Custom Permissions section within the profile.

• Click Edit.

3.Remove the Manage Memberships Permission

• Find the permission labeled mone.Mailchimp Manage Memberships.

• Uncheck this box to revoke access to edit tags or manage Mailchimp memberships.

• Click Save.
