Can I map to Mailchimp SMS field?

Using field mappings or the data wizard allows you to map a correctly formatted mobile number to Mailchimp SMS field.  This allows us via their API to add a number.

However, the Mailchimp API does not support updating a phone number. Adding a new number and signing someone up for SMS services should proceed without any issues. But changing an existing number through the API is not possible; this action will need to be completed manually within the profile: Audiences (BETA) https://mailchimp.com/developer/marketing/docs/audiences-introduction/
