FAQs
What does "Subscriber no longer exist" mean when viewing a Subscriber detail?
The following error may appear when opening a Subscriber's detail, from either a Subscriber List or the component on a contact or lead.
The Subscriber List Membership record no longer exist. It could have been renamed within Campaign Monitor or the two systems are temporarily out of sync. You will be redirected back and will need to manually refresh the page.
Changes made to subscribers in Campaign Monitor are synced to Salesforce with the Primary Sync. When opening the subscriber detail, we call out for a matching email in Campaign Monitor to display the most recent custom fields and status. If the email has changed or the list deleted before the primary sync runs next, we won't be able to find the subscriber.
Run the primary sync or refresh the audience to sync the changed email to Salesforce. If the new email is present in Salesforce, we will relate it to that record.
Note: We recommend changing emails directly in Salesforce instead of Campaign Monitor when possible, as the app handles email changes.
