Attendance Component

2 minute read
  • View a person's Eventbrite event history directly on Contact, Lead and Account record pages with the Eventbrite Attendance component.

  • The component lists each event the person registered for, showing the Event name, Event Start date, Ticket class, Gross price and attendee Status. Click an event name to open a detail window with the attendee's contact details, custom question answers, ticket and pricing breakdown, discounts, and order information.

The component is not added to your pages automatically. It must be placed once by an administrator using the Lightning App Builder, follow the steps below.

Adding the component to a record page

The component works on Contact, Lead and Account record pages. Attendance is matched automatically, on Contacts and Leads by their attendee link or email address, and on Accounts by the account's email fields and related Contacts.

  1. Open a Contact, Lead or Account record, click the Setup cog at the top right, then choose Edit Page to open the Lightning App Builder.

  2. From the component list on the left, drag Eventbrite Attendees onto the page.

  3. Click Save, then Activate if prompted.

  4. The Eventbrite Attendance card now shows the person's event history whenever the record page is opened.

Working with the attendance list

Each row has an actions menu with quick access to the related records where they exist: View Attendee Detail, View Attendee Record, View Event, View Order, View Opportunity, View Campaign, Open in Eventbrite and Validate Rules.

  1. The component reads the Eventbrite Attendee records already synced to Salesforce, it does not call Eventbrite live. New attendees appear after the next primary sync has run.

  2. The Refresh icon in the component header updates the details of the attendee records already shown from Eventbrite. It does not run the full primary sync or discover new attendees.

  3. Up to 200 attendee records are shown, six per page.

  4. Validate Rules checks and refreshes the attendee's related campaign, campaign member and question answer records against your mapping rules.
