How does the remove members from groups option work

When 'Remove Members from Groups' is 'Active', only audience members (I.e. Salesforce Emails) in this import will be linked to the selected Emma groups selected. Any Emma audience members (Salesforce email) not in this import will be removed from the Emma groups selected here.

Example: Managing Group Membership During Import

• Initial Import

  • If Bob is included in the import file and Group A is selected, Bob will be added to Group A.

• Subsequent Import

  • If Bob is not included in the next import, he will be removed from any of the selected groups.

  • In this example, Bob would be removed from Group A.
