Can I sync older events?
Yes, you can store older events, but it depends on how you set up your sync preferences.
Events Made Easy (Eventbrite) uses Salesforce record storage. Each record is about 2KB, so syncing thousands of attendees or events can add up quickly. To help you manage this, we provide flexible storage controls in the Sync Settings tab:
-
Events, Orders & Attendees (Rolling Days)
You can decide how many days of records to keep in Salesforce. For example, you might keep the last 90 days of Orders and Attendees and the last 30 days of Events. These settings are applied each time the primary sync runs.
-
Sync Date (Cutoff Date)
If you want to control data based on a specific date, you can set a cutoff. This will prevent Events, Orders, and Attendees before that date from syncing into Salesforce. This setting overrides the rolling days option, giving you a simple way to include or exclude older records.
Tip:
If you want older events to remain available in Salesforce, increase the number of rolling days or avoid using a restrictive cutoff date. If you’d like to save storage space, reduce the rolling days or set a cutoff date to keep only recent activity.
