Can I get an email when a maintenance message is logged?

To ensure efficient handling of problems, we have implemented a system to capture logs and provide guidance in our maintenance section. Additionally, we leverage Salesforce's built-in notification system, which displays a bell icon on the top right of the screen. To enhance the support process, you can receive notification emails whenever a new message is added to maintenance.

Follow these steps to add an email address for notification:

 

  1. Navigate to the maintenance section via our general settings tab.

  2. In the top right corner of the maintenance page, locate and click on the Cog Icon.

  3. In the "Notification Email" field, enter the email address you want to receive notifications.

  4. Once you've entered the email address, click the "Save" button to store the changes.
