Can I move a file between two records' Dropbox folders?
Yes, with the Move File or Folder to Record Folder Flow action. This is worth knowing about because moving items is only available through Flow. There is no move option in the Dropbox File Manager component.
Add the action to your Flow and set recordId to the destination record, itemName to the file or folder you want to move, and sourceRecordId to the record it currently lives under. You can optionally set destSubPath to place the item in a subfolder of the destination folder. If you leave sourceRecordId blank, the action moves the item within the same record's folder.
If you want to leave the original in place, use Copy File or Folder to Record Folder instead, which takes the same inputs. Both return a success flag and a message you can branch on.
