How do I filter the activity shown in the Mailchimp Activity History component, and can I save my filter?
The Activity History component on a contact or lead shows a live feed of a person's Mailchimp activity, like opens, clicks, and signups. If someone belongs to multiple audiences or has a lot of activity, you can narrow down what's shown using the filter.
Look for the gear (settings) icon on the activity card. Clicking it opens a filter window with two sections:
• Filter Audience: choose which of the person's Mailchimp audiences you want to see activity for. Only audiences that actually have activity for that member are listed.
• Filter by Activity Types: choose which kinds of activity to show, such as Opens, Clicks, Sends, Bounces, Subscribed, Unsubscribed, and several others.
Each section works the same way: move items into the "Filtered" list to hide them, or leave them in "Available" to keep them visible.
Saving Your Filter
Once it's set up the way you want, you have three options at the bottom of the window:
• Apply: uses the filter for this viewing session only. It won't be remembered next time.
• Apply & Save: applies the filter and remembers it going forward, so you'll see the same filtered view every time you look at Activity History, on any record.
• Restore Defaults: clears any saved filter and goes back to showing everything. This option only becomes available once you have a saved filter.
Note: Saved filters are tied to your individual Salesforce user, not the whole org, so each person can set up their own view without affecting what colleagues see.
