Can I create my own reports?
Reports and dashboards are standard Salesforce features not supported by Beaufort 12. If you need help building or updating reports or dashboards you can:
- Ask your Salesforce system administrator.
- Contact your Salesforce consultant.
- If you have Salesforce premier support contact them.
- Take a look at a Salesforce training course.
Although we don't provide support for reports and dashboards we do have some useful information below to help.
Our integration contains a number of custom Salesforce objects all of which can be used with reports or dashboards. In addition you can use the samples we include for you:
- Custom Report types: Found in setup, under Custom Report Types
- Reports: Found in the Eventbrite for Salesforce report folder and accessed via quick actions throughout the application
- Dashboard: Found in the Eventbrite for Salesforce dashboard folder
Report Types
You can also build your own custom report types. A custom report type allows you to work with different objects or use related lookups to pull data into a report. To learn more please see Salesforce trailhead.
Cross object filters
Cross object filters are a useful feature if you are looking to filter on a related object. For example, you might want to see which contacts are not in Campaign Monitor. To do this simply create a report based on contacts and then apply a cross object filter on the subscriber list membership object. They are a standard Salesforce feature that can help in several ways, for example: Quickly see which contacts have been to an event, or not (WITH/OUT Eventbrite Attendee)
