How can I reduce costs in Campaign Monitor for Salesforce?

Our integration is priced in tiers, based on your subscribed audience members. If you'd like to lower your subscriber count to qualify for a lower tier, here are some options:

  • Run a re-engagement campaign to remove disengaged subscribers. Many online resources describe this process: you send a final campaign to re-engage members who haven't opened an email in a specific timeframe, then set them to deleted (same as archived) if they don't re-engage.
  • Ask Campaign Monitor to move you to an agency model. Subaccounts in the agency model are connected to Salesforce, not the agency account. Only connect the subaccounts you need to sync.
  • Create a separate Campaign Monitor account for any audiences you don't need to sync to Salesforce, as we count at the account level. Only connect the account you need to sync to our integration.
  • Use segmentation instead of creating new lists to manage email duplication across multiple audiences.
