Can I create custom field when using SOQL?

We cannot create custom fields in Campaign Monitor via the import wizard if you use SOQL as a data source.  This action is supported when working with reports or list views.  If you need to work with SOQL instead, custom fields will need to be created directly in Campaign Monitor before you use the wizard.
