Can I filter which Mailchimp records create Salesforce Contacts or Leads?

Each Mailchimp audience can contain multiple member records, and you can create a Salesforce Contact, Lead, or Person Account for those members. By default, this functionality is turned off.

When it’s enabled, we use your matching rules—configured on the Field Mappings screen in the Mailchimp to Salesforce direction—to determine whether to create a new Salesforce record or match to an existing one.

We also check for any filters you’ve applied. These filters are set when choosing the object type you’d like us to create records for (Contact, Lead, or Person Account) and can be managed via the filter icon next to each mapping.
