How do I see who received a Mailchimp campaign in Salesforce?
The Members tab on a Mailchimp Campaign Detail modal lists the people Mailchimp sent that campaign to. It is a live lookup of Mailchimp's sent-to report, so it works even when Email Activity sync is turned off.
Each row shows the recipient name, email, status, open count, and last open. Results load 50 at a time. Use the pager at the bottom of the table to move through the list.
Search
- Search by email to look up one recipient in Mailchimp. That search does not require the person to be synced to Salesforce.
- Search by name only finds people who already have a Mailchimp Member record in Salesforce. If the name is not synced, try the email address instead.
A/B and multivariate campaigns
Mailchimp stores recipients on the Winner and Combo child campaigns, not on the parent. When you open an A/B or multivariate campaign, a Variant picklist appears so you can choose Winner or a Combo. The table then shows only the people who received that variant. The same picklist is on Email Preview so you can view that variant's archive.
Subject-line and from-name tests use the same email body, so Email Preview can look identical across variants even though the recipient lists are different.
Name or email unavailable
A row that shows Name unavailable or Email unavailable is still a sent recipient in Mailchimp. Mailchimp has cleared the contact details, usually because the address was deleted or removed for privacy. Last Open shows Never when Mailchimp has no open time for that row.
